Boston -- July 28, 2003 -- Newbury Networks Inc., the first and only supplier of 802.11-based location-enabled network(tm) solutions (LENs), today announced the appointment of Richard Schillbach to the position of vice president of sales. Schillbach will be responsible for Newbury's worldwide direct sales efforts of its award-winning location-based applications for detecting, securing and monitoring enterprise networks.

Before joining Newbury Networks, Schillbach was vice president of sales at NativeMinds, a leading provider of next-generation customer relations solutions. Schillbach has over 16 years in sales management and sales-related roles for leading software companies, with experience ranging from developing and training new sales organizations to directing sales teams through successful IPOs.
Prior to NativeMinds, Schillbach was vice president of eastern sales for Revenio, a CRM provider of automated direct marketing software. Before Revenio, Schillbach was the vice president of eastern sales for eGain Corporation, where he grew the sales group from a six to 21-person sales team and increased gross revenues tenfold in one year. Prior to eGain, he spent 13 years in sales at WebHire (formerly Restrac, Inc.) where he became national sales vice president for eastern U.S. and Canada. Schillbach graduated from LeMoyne College with a bachelor's degree in industrial/labor relations.
In addition to the executive appointment of Schillbach, Newbury Networks recently relocated its corporate headquarters. The move to larger facilities follows the successful introduction of WiFi Watchdog(tm) 2.0, the industry's only location-based solution that secures enterprise networks against wireless intruders; and a successful first-half 2003, with sales to organizations such as America Online, Dartmouth College and The Smithsonian Institution.
